2nd time here, both times my wife & I were very happy with the meal, service, & atmosphere. The only odd thing I can say about Trueman’s is if you order a burger (which was good by the way) you will be charged an extra .49cents for a slice of onion! You can get lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard & ketchup for free but if you want an onion that will be 49cents ( weird). The owner can do whatever they want but it’s a strange charge! I like this place & will be back.
Fun, lively atmosphere with friendly staff & patrons, delicious food at fair prices, good menu selection, wide variety of drinks, plenty of big TV's to watch the games, and always a great song playing on the juke box. Two thumbs up to Trueman's Place. A very enjoyable neighborhood bar & grill.
A great neighborhood bar to meet friends and have a libation or 2. And if you like sports, they have something on the TV all the time.
Food was fantastic it's off the main path of the 44 x 141 intersection. Often being missed by a hill in the way but it is a great place it has booths for family's and a bar for the couples and singles to mingle. Very respectful and super helpful workers. Didn't feel out of place when coming with my kids and often covistors enjoys making faces and interacting with the kids. Very comfortable and inviting and will definitely be back.
Burgers and pizza are awesome, the pizza is not true STL style which makes them even better for us not growing up in the area. Draft beer runs warm, but the bottle selection is enough for the craft beer people.
Fun bar atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, good food. The onion rings were excellent, crisp breading and not overly greasy. The fries were also very good, crispy, salty and just enough other seasonings to make me want more! Overall good experience.
Love this place! Our volleyball team started coming here with our kids after games a year ago and have made it a regular routine. The food is always terrific, the prices are great, and the servers are fantastic. Highly recommend.
Staff was very attentive making a great experience. The food was amazing and the price for the amount that you receive was on point. The chicken philly definitely the best in the area not to mention the onion rings were the best I've ever had. Would recommend for your next goto.
